How much is the data plan for the Verizon Iphone?

How much is the data plan for the Verizon Iphone? Also, what is the difference between 200 MB and 2 GB? I know that the rates are different for each. Which one is a better deal? How much is the data plan for the Verizon Iphone?
Verizon does not offer more than one data plan for iPhone. The rate is $30 for unlimited which is the cheapest plan. AT%26amp;T has three different data plans

$15 for 200MB (best for people who use wifi a lot)

$25 for 2GB (I have this plan and I never go over)

$45 for 4GB+ wifi hotspot

What is a good cell phone that does not require a data plan?

I use AT%26amp;T and intend to switch my current SIM card to a new phone. However I need a phone that doesn't require a data plan.

Well, if not having a data plan means the same thing as having a prepaid cell phone I'd recommend the Lg Rumor Touch. It's a nice touch screen cell phone with a full flip keyboard and tons of other stuff like Email and Google Earth. I don't know what threading text and a sim card is though, I know, pathetic... What is the purpose of sending the message header when sending data across to another machine?

Does the receiving end need to do anything with the messager header or just extract the data portion? Thanks alot! What is the purpose of sending the message header when sending data across to another machine?
What exactly are you referring to?

Network programming? Sockets? TCP stack? Individual packets?

For example: At the Application Layer

We can write a chat client/server application where each message can contain a certain prefix. The prefix acts as a command for the client/server to interpret. Based on this command, the server may know to relay a message to a specific client or to all clients.

  • How can I extract data off a dead laptop?

My acer aspire laptop crashed a couple of weeks back but now I've lost loads of important pictures, documents so on.

What is the easiest way to extract the data? How can I extract data off a dead laptop?
As long as it wasn't hard disk failure and you didn't restore it to facrory default go to PC world or similar and buy a 2.5 inch sata/ide hard disk to usb enclosure, costs about 拢15-拢20. Make sure to get one that does sata and ide unless you know which one your hdd is. You basically just have to then remove the hard disk from the laptop, there will be a panel on the bottom to remove. Undo all the screws. The hdd will be in a small caddy, this will need to be unscrewed from the drive and removed. Put the drive in the enclosure and connect to another pc, you will then be able to browse the disk. Your data will likely be under c:\documents and settings\username in xp or c:\users\username in vista and win 7. Good luck! How can I extract data off a dead laptop?
You could contact a computer tech store to run a program to retrieve the data. This is never 100 percent effective unless your hard drive is in good shape, it likely is and they will remove the hard drive, connect it to another computer and retrieve you information. It will cost though. How can I extract data off a dead laptop?
use a live cd version of linux, such as ubuntu, burn the free .iso to a cd, then turn the pc on choose to try without installing, you will be able to access the data, to copy it to another hard disc or flash drive via usb

What kind of empirical data is there about sliding into first base?

I coach a little league team and have a player who has slid into first. He argued that he was trying to get there quickly. I said that besides increasing his chance of injury (the kid is only 10 afterall) the evidence about sliding into first is inconclusive. Now that I've said it I would love some data to back me up or prove me wrong. I did a little searching but was unsuccessful. Anyone know of some places that could help? What kind of empirical data is there about sliding into first base?
Running is faster because the runner is moving a full speed through first base. With sliding she would have the static friction with the ground, which would slow her down slightly. Also, as soon as she leaves the ground to slide, there's no more propulsion, which slows her down even more.

How can I recover data from a crashed external hard drive?

I have a Western Digital hard drive, and it's been ticking for a couple of days now, and now it won't even show up on My Computer. There is a TON of music on it, is there anyway to recover the data from it? I know ex HDDs are supposed to be for backups, but if they go bad, what's the point! My cousin, and now this, both Western Digitals, went bad. I will never buy a Western Digital product again. How can I recover data from a crashed external hard drive?
Never heard of an external hard drive "crashing"How can I recover data from a crashed external hard drive?
If it is ticking, then the the controller (circuit on the bottom of the drive) has probably gone. A few years ago I had a drive that was ticking, I managed to get hold of a drive of the same make and model. I swapped the controller from the donor drive to the clicking one, and I managed to get all the data off it. This kind of thing would not be a permanent solution to fix the drive but it may buy you the time to recover your data.
