How do you retrieve data from a nokia n96 phone whose motherboard is broken?

A couple of weeks ago the battery of my phone died. I charged it but it would not turn on, so i went to the service centre and they said that the motherboard is fried. i don't care about the phone but the things stored in the phone is valuable to me.
